Art Design Teaching Must Concern About Student' Humanism Quality

Art design plays a significant role in our economic life and it is involved in man' s foods, clothes, housing, transportation and so on. Countless art works have sprung up since civilization began, some lack humanism concerns because of paying full attention to science and technology, emphasizing on pragmatism, neglecting art, turning blind eye to the vast influence on our life which is brought about by human concerns. Art is a combination of science and aestheticism and humanism concerns, which relate to art design education, especially in a time most people are different to humanism concerns. Therefore we chose this subject. This essay is constituted by four parts:The first part explains the relation between art design and humanism concerns. A standard design talent not only is skilled in his field but also have a good learning about man' s culture , history philosopgy, religion and so on .He will really fulfil the design belief which centers on man by considering problem from all aspects, such as science , technology and valve of man' s existence as well and caring about man' s culture , man' s living environment and future .The second presents that art design education must stresson students' humanism quality . It will really fulfil the design belief which centers on man by considering problem. The essay discusses merits and demerits of art designing at home and abroad, and presents some realizing of the writer.The third presents analyzes the initial experiments which have been done after absorbing dom-estic and overseas advanced experience including experiments in environment design teaching , three-dimensioned structure teaching, space structure design teaching courses. Some progress has been made in promoting students' initiative and creatness in their art design by emphasizing on humanism concerns in teaching .The fourth is a plan about the would-be reform: further absorbing advanced experience and theory, widening teaching methods, carrying out investigation and research, requiring tirt majors who have been workforce in this field, distinguishing local speciality of fostering talents by enforcing changsha humanism culture contents in teaching.
