Fryderyk Chopin, one of the greatest composers of piano music during the Romantic era of the Nineteenth Century, devoted all his life and energy into piano. They also greatly influence the composers of their time and afterwards, such as Listzt, Rakhmaninov, Skryabin, and Debussy.The paper tries to explore Chopin's life experience in his creation, based on the change of history environment and the turns of life " experience of his time. And together with the technique of the Etude itself, the paper has a comprehensive view on Chopin's piano Etudes through the analysis of the Etudes' creative means and features.The first part of the paper gives a brief account of Chopin's life and his mental development, especially his explore to traditional music genre. Innovation has broken the limitation of the old, and obtained new emotional connotation and art display. Especially, the "Etude" has no longer been simple practice, but an artistic work full of composers' thoughts and emotion.The second part of the paper introduces 'the background of Chopin's creation of piano Etude. Then through the comparison of his and the people of his time or before on Etudes, the paper concludes that Chopins' has broken the traditional meaning on this genre. In the end, the paper analyses how Chopin's Etudes combine art with technique, through three aspects: synthetical melody and technique, colorful harmony and technique, and singular piano and technique.The last part of the paper emphasizes on the combination of art, technique and life of Chopin's Etudes, through the mental relation of Chopin and his country, and his personal emotion experience.
