Alexander Scriabin is a famous composer living at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century, as one of the representative of Russian late Romanticism, his compositional style is unique in the history of western music, with a distinct and strong color and characteristics of individualism. As concentrated essence of his works, Scriabin's piano etudes show us the entire process of style gradual change of his music writing career.On the consideration of its cultural causes, characteristics and other aspects of music composition techniques, according to the different composition stages of the piano etudes, this thesis try to analysis and summarise it's composited features, at the same time make the analysis of representative works and performance methods of the work. From the vertical and horizontal gradients, the thesis summarizes the composer's concepts of harmony, scale and color. By the study on the etudes, the reasons of the composer's style divertion, the etudes performance characteristics are also summarized.
