Language Inheritance, Cultural Integration And Humanities Reconstruction In Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County

This dissertation bases itself upon the historical backgrounds of the human's civilization in the epoch of Globalization. Selecting Gaotian Town as a case to carry on field investigation, it analyzes the relation of the local Zhang-Dong group interaction to the language culture identification and probes the inheritance mechanism of the language culture from multiple angles in the light of the present conditions of the language application in Gaotian Town. It aims to discover the different outer presentation and inner value orientation of the local poly-group culture through the methods of aesthetic anthropology and to reconsider the deep theoretic basis of the reconstruction of the regional culture from the point of poly-culture identification. It's helpful to practically grasp the cultural connotation and cultural reconstruction in the Lijiang Valley.There are six parts altogether, beginning with the investigation and analysis of the basic conditions in Gaotian Town from the view point of the cultural anthropology.Part One: Introduce Gaotian's geographical position ,cultural ecology,economical type and population. Gaotian Town has a superior position and abundant tourism resources, which makes up its marginal inferior. Tourism industry has become industry in Gaotian Town,with the coming of 1.2 million tourists every year. Gaotian is an ethnic group of Zhang, Han, Yao, Hui and so on. The Zhang ethnicity is the biggest ethnic location in Yangshuo country and Guilin city, holding 57% of the total population.Part Two: It focuses on the investigation of the present conditions of language application in Gaotian Town and finds out that Gui-Liu dialect is the common communication discourse and Han dialect can be regarded as "living fossil" of the Han immigrants. Zhuang dialect is often used with Gui-Liu dialect by some Zhuang villagers. Thanks to the flourishment of the tourism, some villagers begin to learn English.Part Three: Looking back the interaction experience of Zhuang-Han migrants,it finds out that more and more Zhuang people introduce Chinese( sinitic language) into their cultural cognitives system during the long term communication with Han people. Meanwhile, the integration leads to the desalination of Zhuang conscious.Part Four: It tries to study the inheritance mechanism of language culture in Gaotian Town from multiple perspectives and discovers that value orientation and cognition form is restricted or affected by multiple elements, such as dominant culture, ethnic customs, geographical position, value realization and so on.Part Five: After considering the relation of cultural identity, cultural mingling to regional humanities reconstruction, it points out that different cultural identity brings up different cultural inheritance modal. How to reconstruct its ethnic culture, stimulate the identity of the ethnic group and train their self-consciousness to protect their ethnic culture is directly close to the realization of constructing harmonious regional culture.Part Six: After synthetically analyzing the interaction of Zhuang-Han group, poly-symbiosis of cultural identity and cultural enlightenment, this dissertation aims at offering the reality and theory support for the construction of humanities world, awakening more and more people to concern with humanities construction ,material world and spirit home we live in.
