To study the current status and main characteristics of college students' psychological conflict and the relationship among stress reaction, subjective well-being and coping style, 531 students of four universities from the first to the Four grade were investigated, by using self-made questionnaire on college students' psychological conflict, Cawte's stress questionnaire and coping style questionnaire (CSQ). The results of four researches showed: (1) Nearly all the college students are facing psychological conflicts, and both of the characteristics and contents of conflicts are vide diversified and complicated. (2) Compared the total mean score with each other, there were significant difference between male and female. (3) As one of the stressors, the higher frequencies of conflict would result in the higher stress levels both physic and mental, and would result in the lower level of satisfaction of life and index of subjective well-being. (4) The students with higher frequencies of conflicts were used to select the coping styles, such as "self-blaming" , "avoiding" , and "imagining" , but the factor of "solving-problem" was main coping style in those students with lower frequencies of conflicts, which indicated that passive coping style positively correlated with higher frequencies of conflicts. According to these results, it is necessary to concern with the current status of students' conflict, and explore much more effective measures to help students to copy psychological conflicts positively.
