The Adolescent Interpersonal Communication Self-Efficacy is the self-evaluation on the communication effect which the adolescent exerts his communication ability and adopts the communication strategies according to the rule of interpersonal communication in the different communication context This is the individual internal mental mechanism in the interpersonal communication. The study of adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy and influence factors is development and deepening of study on self-efficacy and interpersonal communication, it explores the internal mental mechanism and reasons in the adolescent interpersonal communication. Also it provides the theoretical support to the education of the adolescent interpersonal communication. At present, the study on self-efficacy in the adolescent interpersonal is quite rare at home and abroad. This study probes into the mental construction of the interpersonal communication self-efficacy and Influence factors, by analyzing the literature and the open-ended and half close-ended inventory. Based on the theoretical construction of the interpersonal communication self-efficacy, this study works out the primary scale and adopts the method of factor analysis to obtain the positive mental construction of adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. After that, this study draws up the formal scale and explores the characteristics of adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. At the same time, the influence factors questionnaire is worked out, according to theoretical construction of the influence factors. This study inspects the characteristics and the influence factors of adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy on the investigation of 1236 middle school students by the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy scale and the influence factors questionnaire.This results of this study are as follows:1. The mental construction of the interpersonal communication self-efficacy consists of two dimensions and seven factors. The dimensions are the ability of the interpersonalcommunication and the strategy of the interpersonal communication. The factors are initiative, insistence, diplomatic communication, respect and honesty, comprehension, self-capability and expression.2. The adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy scale has good reliability and validity. It is able to be the tool to measure the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy.3. The sex differences exist in the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. On the whole, female students are with higher interpersonal communication self-efficacy than males.4. The grade differences exist in the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. The adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy of senior three is the best, and junior one is poorest. The developing tendency is scaling: senior three> junior three> senior two> senior one, junior two> junior one.5. The school differences exist in the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. As a whole, the characteristic is: key middle school>ordinary middle school>occupational school.6. The individual communication experience is the most important one which influent the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy in all the influence factors. There are nine significant paths influent the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy. Individual characteristic, school circumstances and social circumstances influent the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy directly. Individual characteristic and school circumstances influent the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy by family circumstances. School circumstances and individual characteristic influent the adolescent interpersonal communication self-efficacy by social circumstances.
