Adjustment and development are core tasks in adolescents' developing process. The nature of adolescents' development is a process in which adolescents become socialized for the adaptation to society and meanwhile for the development of themselves. Social interaction adjustment is the validity of individuals' adaptation to social environment when they are interacting with social activities. It is a display of individuals' ability in social activity and the main content of social adaptation.Based on the theory of Adolescents' Social Adaptation Behavior Model and relational viewpoints of"CPT"of Lazarus&Folkman(1984,1990,1991), the present research is conducted by adopting the methods of literature review, measurements and deduction-induction. 916 participants were extracted randomly from 5 grades in 2 middle schools of Guangzhou respectively. Using descriptive statistic, T-test, ANOVA and multiple hierarchical regression, we analyzed the data to explore the relationship among adolescents' social stress, self-efficiency and social interaction adjustment behaviors. The result shows that interpersonal stress, as a constant source of stress from the outside world, exert negative effect in individuals' Interpersonal self-efficacy. Interpersonal self-efficacy could have a positive influence on social interaction adjustment behaviors through cognitive appraisal and capability percipience experience, which proves those adolescents' skills in interpersonal communication, played the intermediation effect in interpersonal stress and social interaction adjustment behaviors. The article also gives a brief discussion on the trend of researches on adolescents' social interaction adjustment behaviors in the future.Main conclusions of present study are as follows:1. Significant gender difference was found on factor of interpersonal stress between boys and girls, in which scores of girls are higher than boys, but not on other factos such as interpersonal self-efficacy and social interaction adjustment behaviors. Homologously, significant influence was also found on grade of adolescents ' interpersonal stress, but not so on the interpersonal self-efficiency and social interaction adjustment behaviors. Boys usually experience more stress compare with girls. Trend of adolescent' interpersonal stress follows the curve of "U" ; The scores of interpersonal stress for adolescent were going on an even keel when they change from grade one to grade two in secondary schools, then rising distinctly when students enter into senior stage, with grade five reaching its peak.3. On the whole, adolescents' interpersonal self-efficiency is above the average level, taking the trend curve of "M" with grade two in secondary school being the top and with the grade one in high school at the lowest point.4. Significant grade difference was found on factor of social interaction adjustment behaviors. The scores of social interaction adjustment behaviors for adolescent rise remarkably when they change from grade one to grade two in secondary schools, with grade two reaching its peak. From then on, the scores decline as when students enter into senior stage.5. Among interpersonal stress, peer pressure, parents' stress, interpersonal self-efficiency and social interaction adjustment behaviors are correlated, but this is not so for teachers' stress, parents' stress, interpersonal self-efficiency and social interaction adjustment behaviors.6.
