Lu Xun's Life Experience And The Modern Change On The View Of "Science Of Man"

Till now,research on Lu Xun' s as a subject in great demand has developed for nearly a century.Moreover,related monographies and materials have flourished in this field,and the research methods have been changed frequently.Nowadays in the 21st Century,when we deeply analyze from the angle of "Science of Man"Lu Xun' s Literature works and the abundant thoughts included,we will find eventually that Lu Xun paid much attention all his life to the independence of individual characteristic,fulfillment of freedom on spirit and people' life or destiny. The care part of his thoughts was not the reforms of politics and economies,but the establishment of Humanist Ontology,therefore his thoughts own the apparent characteristics of Humanist OntoIogy.This point,however,did not simply inherite the Humanist Ontology from western philosophy,What' s more,as a promotion,he injected fresh blood into the original.According to the analysis on his works in different periods,we notice that Lu Xun' s attention on man had accomplished a process from simple to complex,from unilateral to the overall.Originally,he regarded people as a pure and lonely body in spirit,and later,he showed more interests in man' natural attribute,social attribute and spirital attribute.thus,Lu Xun finished the establishment of his ideas on "perfect man"defmed by Carl Marx.Lu Xun lived in a certain complex social condition that Chinese society transferred from the traditional version into an utterly new one,whose ideology went through a similar process.The author here believes that his humanist ideology had undergone four stages:Period of early youth-His humanist ideology appeared as Group department because of his living in an air of traditional culture;Period of youth-He held high the banner of the stand of individual department after he accepted the "Science of Man"from western humanist ontology;Period of middleage-The practical conflict between individualism and humanism caused the contradiction of his ideas about the stand of individual department and group department;Period of old age-the seeds of common consciousness of human race.Logically speaking,this diachronicalprocess was similar to Carl Marx' s idea that divided man' s history into three processing phases: 1,The dependent relationship among human beings formed naturally,and presented themselves as the stand of Group department;2,The condition that human' s independence based on material substance,and showed itself as the stand of individual department;3,The condition of free individual based itself on personal development and social productive force which led to became social wealth,and appeared as a promotion to both the stand of Group department and that of individual department.From 1920's to 1930's ,China confronted a complex situation,both international and domestic.Objectively,it suppressed the development of the consciousness of human race development in China.Lu Xun' s consciousness of human race was in rudiment period,and not mature.This showed sufficiently his lead ideology.Meanwhile,this also made him embarrassed in reality.In his later years,his loneliness,depressed feeling and combating with the so-called "four fellows",all reflected his dilemma. In a word,Lu Xun had accomplished the transformation from Chinese traditional view on "Science of Man"to modern version.Rational knowledge derives from and depends on perceptual knowledge.Lu Xun' s humanist ideology development still can not be separated from his life experience and practice.As a writer,Lu Xun' s life experience in his humanist ideology development played a key part.In comments,author considers the reality nowadays in China from two aspects -the conflict between individual consciousness and group consciousness,and the conflict between national consciousness and world' s consciousness,and clarifies the current significance of the modern change of Lu Xun' s view on "Science of Man"to China today.
