A Comprehensive Approach To Teaching And Learning English Vocabulary: An Experimental Study

This essay first addresses the general situation of English learning in China, the problems of present TEFL. Then, it focuses on the practice and exploration in English vocabulary teaching methodology in the form of experimentation, based on the application of applied linguistics, SLA, educational psychology, cognitive psychology, memory psychology, brain sciences, efficiency model for foreign language learning. On the basis of the experimental study, this paper explores a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning English vocabulary in China's environment.
