This paper discusses the trend of immigrants'localization in the compact community of Hunan,Hubei,Sichuan and Guizhou province.By giving the description of a Tujia village,this study tries to reflect the social change and development of the district inhabited by minority nationalities.The work begins with a brief examination of the basic condition and natural environment of these areas, which is the premise of the research..This district ,which is underpopulated,desolate before Ming dynasty,provides a hotbed of immigrants'localization.lt is the geographical environment that plays an important role in the local change.In the practical investigation of Tangyasi village ,the inhabitants'historical origin is found.The immigrants have the largest population hi the village.This phenomenon is very ubiquious.Since Ming and Qing dynasty,more and more other nationalities come to the village and live together.As a result,the localized immigrant farmers form the main body of the immigrants.This article states the category and number of them..The government' control of the area and the commnication of the people is restricted by the environment.That is the social reason that the immigrants become localized.Although there are different representations during different periods,this process always exists since Yuan and Ming dynasty,the localization is fully realized which can be experienced by real life.
