The Fictional Possible Perspectives Of Milan Kundera's Researches

Fiction itself is a flowing term. Since 1950s, the fiction circle in western countries has been confronted with the puzzledom of 'fictional destruction'. However, Milan Kundera, a Czech writer from the perspective of fictional history puts forward his opposing views against 'fictional destruction' on the basis of the fictional inner logic.Meanwhile, Kundera combines his writings with theoretical researches perfectly and summarizes four possible perspectives of fictional researches: game-evocation, dream-evocation, thought-evocation and time-evocation.This thesis gives a detailed explanation to the four evocations and applies them to researching his creations. As for the game-evocation, Kundera's novels have a marked characteristic of fiction and humor and keep a perfect balance between 'freedom' and 'rules'. As for the dream-evocation in his rovels,he creates a new type of 'dream-interpretation' fiction texts based on the Kefka's creations and Frued's theory of dreams' interpretation. The sophisticated thoughts is one of the 'revolutionary' features of his novels, in which 'narration' and 'contemplat on' become the tools of discovering human's 'being'. Kundera deals with 'time' not confining in 'the individual memory' but advacating 'the collective time' and he attenpts to display the co-existence of different history time.This thesis concludes that Kundera 's researches to the fictinal possible perspectives are the summary to the western fictional history and the prospect for the fictional development and his researches are enlightening to fictional creations and theories.
