The Research Of Chinese Yangqin And Its Compositions

This paper consists of three parts, which wholly and systematically inspect and study the development of Chinese yangqin, the traditional compositions and the modern compositions respectively.The first part is the summery of Chinese yangqin. It investigates several theories about the original of yangqin, sorts out of the development index of four hundred years history and elaborates the process of the yangqin's nationalization.The second part analyzes the traditional compositions of Chinese yangqin. With specific compositions, the author studies the traditional compositions, analyzes the common characteristics and the differences and explains the nationality of traditional compositions in the music content, the artistic style and the expression techniques.The third part analyzes the modern compositions of Chinese yangqin. The author classifies the modern compositions by period and concludes the whole characteristic and that of every stage. By specifically analyzing four compositions, the author concludes the acquired accomplishment, deficiency and fault in composing modern yangqin compositions and comes up with personally views and opinions about these problems.
