A Study On The Automatic Recognition And Grammatical Properties Of Several Categories Of Adv+Adj Phrase

It is acknowledged that Adv+Adj phrases take up large portions in Chinese corpus. Such phrases provide ample examples for linguistic study.In this paper, the most frequently used 5 categories of Adv+Adj phrases are presented with comparative analysis with regard to Adj phrase . We conducted our study by the approach of combining the human intelligence and machine support thereafter providing data and our conclusion.Firstly, we focus our strength on the recognition of Adv+Adj phrase and proposed 3 major categories of solution.Secondly, based on the previous result, we analyzed the Adv+Adj phrase by its linear neighborhood. The analyzed result demonstrates several interesting points that worth in depth research.Thirdly, the survey and grammatical study on the Adv+Adj phrase is presented. We have provided the data of most frequent linear neighbor words of Adv+Adj phrase and later on analyzed with 500 property word in order to make our analysis more clear and specified.Finally, the contrast and comparison of Adv+Adj phrase and Adj phrase is demonstrated with the report of their different linear neighboring ability.
