A Quantitative Analysis Of The Poets In The Song Dynasty

In this article, the author wants to review the history of the development of Song poem by the analysis of where the poets living, the age of the poets when they passed the imperial examination and the years they having been lived and the years when their articles having been finished and etc.There are four parts in this article. The first part is something about the analysis of where the poets born. The second part is something about the age of the poets when they passed the imperial examination and the year they having been lived and the year when their article shaving been finished etc. The third part of the article is something about the different things in the different areas. Furthermore, it divides the Song poets among seven groups of different generations. The fourth part is something about the quantity of poems and the poems are distributed over. In this part the author also compares the Song poem with Tang poem and Song Ci-Poetry and finds the relating of them.In this article, we can find the rules of the development of the literature as follows:Firstly, there are close relations between the development of the literature and society politics, economy, culture and etc.Secondly, there are different phases of history while the literature development come to a climax and stagnancy.Thirdly, there are different academic achievements and different representative characters. The styles of what they had indited are not invariable.Last, although the quantity and amount of literary composition or writings has no decisive influence on the whole development of literature, it still is a criterion by which people can appraise the popularity of poet.
