The turning period of Song and Yuan Dynasties is a special era in Chinese history. The change of dynasties and the change of national power brought unprecedented changes in status and spiritual impact to the traditional scholars. In this period,in addition to the emergence of a large number of Survivor Ci-poets who were loyal to the country and never became officials, there were also some Ci-poets who changed their ways and became officials in the new dynasty.Compared with the former, the latter’s spiritual course is more complicated. This paper studies the group of Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty from two aspects: on the one hand,it makes a systematic analysis of the mentality and works of Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty;on the other hand,it perfects the cognition of this group by comparing with the Survivor Ci-poets,and tries to outline the whole picture of Ci-poets between song and Yuan Dynasties.Based on this, this paper can be divided into three parts. The first part includes the first and second chapters, which is the basic research on the Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty, mainly from the definition, classification and friendship of the Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty. The Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty mentioned in this paper refer to those who participated in the imperial examination of the Song Dynasty, served as officials of the Song Dynasty,or were over 20 years old at the time of the death of the Song Dynasty.According to the criteria of long-term living area, the reasons of becoming an official and political attitude, they can be divided into two categories: Dadu Official Ci-poets and southern Official Ci-poets.In addition to frequent contacts with each other,Official Ci-poets of the Yuan Dynasty also had extensive contacts with Survivor Ci-poets of the Southern Song Dynasty and officials of the Yuan Dynasty. The second part includes the third and fourth chapters of the paper, which is the analysis of the mentality and works of the Official Ci-poets in the Yuan Dynasty. As far as mentality is concerned,it is mainly the contradiction and struggle between official and seclusion. The traditional loyalty to the monarch and nostalgia for the motherland make the poets tend to seclusion. The ideal of helping the world and the people and the material poverty in real life make them choose to become officials. This tangled mentality is often reflected in literary works.Specifically,Dadu Official Ci-poets are different from southern Official Ci-poets.The former is in a high position and reveals less feelings in his poems, while the latter is often sad in his poems and expresses his thoughts about his country with more characteristics of adherents. The third part, the fifth chapter,is the comparison between the Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty and the Survivor Ci-poets.In view of the fact that the southern Official Ci-poets in the Yuan Dynasty first described themselves as Survivor Ci-poets and then as officials of Yuan Dynasty, resulting in the intersection between the two groups, this paper divides the two groups into three categories: simple Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty, simple Survivor Ci-poets and the intersection of the two groups. There are similarities and differences in their political attitude and Ci-style creation. For a long time, the Official Ci-poets of Yuan Dynasty have been criticized for their political choice which deviated from the traditional morality. This paper attempts to make a relatively objective evaluation of them through the above research and analysis.
