The Book of liang Dynasty was written in Sui Dynasty and finished in early Tang Dynasty, which is a historical document on the history of Liang Dynasty. For the present, researchers pay much attention to collation, collection and hermeneutic on historical documents, while the grammatical research on those documents is far away from enough, thus we select the adverbs on the Book of Liang Dynasty to do some research. This thesis consists of three parts:1. In the first chapter, we make a overall and systemic description and classification of adverbs on the Book of Liang Dynasty, trying to draw the outline of basic aspect of it. There are 632 adverbs in the Book of Liang Dynasty, which are divided into eight categories, such as adverbs of time, adverbs of scope, adverbs of degree, modal adverbs, mood adverbs, link adverbs, negative adverbs and adverbs of indicating and substituting.2. Some of them come from remote ancient Chinese, some of them display the aspect of middle ancient Chinese, some of them are germinations of some adverbs in recent Chinese. And there are 200 disyllabic adverbs in this book, among which 79 disyllabic adverbs belong to remote ancient Chinese, occupying 39.5 percent, and 121 disyllabic adverbs belong to middle ancient Chinese, occupying 60.5 percent. They reflect the disyllabic feature of middle ancient Chinese in some degree.3.
