Righteous Net Scriptures Adverbs Study

Researchers have paid much attention to Chinese sutras in the past ten years.Because the material in Chinese sutras is similar to the spoken language of that time.There are a large amount of Chinese sutras in the Tang Dynasty but they have not been paid great attention to.For the present ,researchers pay much attention to substantival study on YiJing' s translated sutras,while empty word' s study is far away from enough,thus we select the adverbs on YiJing' s translated sutras to do some research and analyse the evolution rules of adverbs.The thesis consists of three parts:l.In the first chapter ,we make an overall and systemic description and classification of adverbs on YiJing' s translated sutras ,trying to draw the outline of basic aspect of it. There are 551 adverbs in YiJing' s translated sutras ,which are divided into eight categories.2.In the second chapter,we analyse the development of the adverbs on YiJing' s translated sutras and reveal its' position in the history of Chinese grammar. There are 5 51 adverbs in YiJing' s translated sutras. Some of them come from remote ancient Chinese ,some of them display the aspect of middle ancient Chinese ,some of them are germinations of some adverbs in recent Chinese .There are 246 disyllabic adverbs in YiJing' s translated sutras,occupying 44.65 percent.lt reflects the disyllabic feature of Tang Dynasty Chinese.3.In the third chapter ,we select some adberbs in YiJing' s translated sutras to study,trying to draw their grammaticalization.
