The thesis research the consumption behavior with the view of psychology , analyze the forming of the destination's image by the cognitive theory. As an example, the author give a psychological analysis for the cognition image of Nanjing, and make an evaluation together with raise the opinions about the constitution of the city's image. The article is consist of four parts.The first chapter list the background of the research, also in this part the main content and the searching method of this study are shown. The second chapter focus on the basic theory for the psychological explanation of the human's behavior and point out that cognition actually is the main factor of the consumption behavior's formation. Therefore, the main content of the cognition psychological fundamental theory is another key point of this part, the procedure and regulations of the cognition are major topics. In the third part, the self-image cognition and the outside social cognition are mainly discussed. The core idea of the thesis is raised after then, which says the consumption behavior of the tour actually comes from the coordination of the self-image with the destination's image. We attempt to do a psychological evaluation of the Nanjing's cognition according to the investigation before in the last chapter, with all those above, the author's opinions for the making-up of the city's image are raised...
