The Predicament And Breakthrongh Behind The Flushiness

In the late 20th century, due to the impetus of the commercialization, market, mass media and urbanization, urban novels began to come into being, as the creators and carriers of this culture, urban women also impressively appeared at the front row in the feminine image gallery. For the images shaped in the recent years some have synchronization, some are colorful, but some others are not good enough. For example, the plane narration and sex discrimination. Only when we face the imperfection in shaping the feminine images can the novel becoming more blooming.This paper consists of the preface, the body and the conclusion. The preface is mainly about the research meaning and purpose of the subject. For the body, firstly it discusses the cultural context of the novel rise, the evolution of the double value point under the social transformation and the commercial literature under the time of mass media. Secondly, by sorting out the development of the feminine images from the different time and distinguishing the differences and similarities between the images in the new sense novels in the 1930s and those of the current and the relationship between social cultures' inheritance and the shaping of the feminine image so that we can have a full understanding of the achievements and deficiency of the current female images shaped in the urban novels. Finally from the sex angle of view, I analyze the characteristics and problems existed when writers shape the images. The conclusion part is my personal view on the prospect of the feminine image shaping.
