Research On Early Reformer's Legal Ideas

There has been no systematic or comprehensive research on early reformer's legal ideas over a long period of time. This thesis is trying to study the legal ideas of early reform from macrocosmic and microcosmic point of view. Firstly, I make a summary of the research on early reformer's political ideas., economic ideas, cultural ideas, educational ideas, military ideas, diplomatic ideas and legal ideas over fifty years. Secondly, I study the legal ideas of Chen-chi, Wang-tao and Xue fu-cheng, investigate their points about criminal law, international law, charter, procedural law consulting jurisprudence, the theory of modernization and analyze the progressive and confined meaning of these points. At last, I make a summary of their legal ideas, inquire into the same and different content of their legal ideas to find the modern meaning .
