Research On The Parallel Relationship Of Giving Construction, Getting Construction And Placing Construction

Through the research on much language material, the thesis points out that there is a parallel relationship among getting construction, giving construction and placing construction, either from the angle of syntactic or semantic. The parallel relationship can be seen from the following aspects, such as the choice and transformation of syntactic constructions, semantic character of the constructions as well as factors which control the grammatical transformation and so on.On the basis preceding analysis, the thesis studies all the types of the double object construction from the angle of the source orientation and the goal orientation, then reaches a conclusion that the semantic of the double object construction means making the things move objectively.
