Sino-Korean present-day literature develops parallel without affecting the relationships of the two countries directly .At present,the comparative literary study of Sino-Korean modern literature is a research topic that must be speedily under taken .The comparative study on Sino-Korean modern literature has been one of the research realms that have the most pioneering tendency and capacity of studying assiduously .Therefore, this comparative study on Sino-Korean modern literature is not only of great importance.but has widespread influence on the literary circles .Based on the realization.the paper is to take Laoshe and Cai Wenzhi with splendid achievements in Sino-Korean art and literary circles as the research center and study comparatively their early stage representative works Rickshaw Boy and Muddy Stream.Laoshe and Cai Wenzhi are the writers in 1930' s who arrest the whole literary circle ' s attention in China and South Korea .They were the universal commendation through the remarkable artistic ability .In particular.their representative works Rickshaw Boy and Muddy Stream intently watch the living environment of each philistine .In the works and manifest every philistine' s fate with distinctive perspectives and concerning ways .They made the unique contributions to the literary creation of the two countries and became the representative writers in Sino-Korean literary world .Thus.the author tries to study the two works published in 1930' s comparatively applying comprehensively the methods of comparative literary parallel study and social and historicalcriticism.This paper is composed of six parts .The first part is the introduction to the study purpose.significance and methods .The second part analyzes and examines the two writers' historical.social and cultural background of the creation,the relationships between their own life experiences and literary creation and the inner and outer factors hided in the works .Then.in the following three parts,analyze and make a comparison to find out the similarities and differences manifested in creating the theme, moulding images of the charactors and creating ways .
