As documentary being an important part of film and television culture, it's study has been playing a key role in television research field. Since the appearing of documentary,there have turned up various phenomina,theories and concepts of documentary worldwide. Under the varying phenomina,there is the invisible hand-the philosophic concept of documentary production which has always been dominating the orientation of documentary development.Therefore, it can be said that to study documentary from the point of philosophic concept is to hold the key to this issue.Meanwhile,it is known to all that documentary appeared first in the west.Up to now,all the documentary phenomina,theories as well as the trends of thoughts in the history of Chinese documentary can easily be traced back to it's influence resources in Europe and Amercia.These influences include not only good aspects but also bad ones.So,to apply the method of influence comparison to documentary research can help us to keep away from the perplexing phenomina,to tidy up the theoretical resources of documentary production,to grasp it's development law, and on this basis, to reorient the sustainable development of Chinese documentary production.The essay has four parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the researches at home and abroad and then states the research frame and methods of this essay.The second part deals with the philosophic concept of documentary production. In this part,the author analyses four important philosophic issues unavoidablely involved in documentary production.-realism and reality,projectiveness and objectiveness ,reappearance and representation,fictiveness and originity ,with the intention to solve some basic problems baffling documentary producers for many years.The third part dwells on the influence comparison of documentary production.In this part,the method of influence comparing is applied. The research is carried out in two ways: firstly, the studying on the influencer,which analyzes those influencial documentary theories and genres in foreign countries,studies the influences from their starting points in order to get a full understanding of the influence origins; secondly,the studying on the influencee analyzes the influences that the documentary theories outside china has on Chinese documentary production from the end point of the influences,and then point out the accomplishment and limitation of these influences. This part includes four smaller parts:"Visualized political comments"and news reports, "Grierson's" and setting subject in advance, "Direct cinema" and on-the-sport-record, "Truth cinema, the self-reflective and subject intervention"The last part is concluding remarks. On the basis of analyses and comparison above,some measures are suggested for the sustainable development of Chinese documentary production. |
