Singing is a super nerve activity involving physiology and psychology. Learning singingis a process of sublimation from sensuous cognition to rational cognition instructing practisewith reason. Singers should try to figure out the inner physiological feeling when producingsound and know the relationship among the parts of body. Vocal musicart psychology is a newkind of science. It studies teachers and students as well as all singers' psychological situationfunctions while they are singing and teaching. Its task is to reveal the scientific law of theessence, the occuring and the development of singers' psychology in teaching activities, todiscuss the function and meaning of psychological factors in theory, to enforce thepsychological training in teaching, and to lay a better foundation for the training of singers'good psychological quality in order to deeply understand the inner psychological law ofproducing sound in vocal music and teaching and promote the improuement of vocal musicteaching and singers' singing levels. The article aims at explaining how to bring up students'healthy singing psychology in vocal music teaching through the discussion of the relationshipbetween vocal music teaching and psychology, the psychological content applying in teaching,the meaning of vocal music teaching studied from psychological point, the importance ofsinging psychology in vocal music teaching and how to train students' healthy singingpsychology.
