The study and performance of vocal music are the process of development and improvement, which is in combination with skills of vocal music, psychological qualities as well as various experience of life. And it is hard for one to reach the peak of his or her career if he or her just only depends on the skills of vocal music. The researchers, therefore, transform their studies from physiology of singing into vocal aesthetics, psychology of vocal music, vocal pedagogy and so on. In the studies on singing, psychology of vocal music is an important subject, which has great influence on the passion of singing, the will of singing as well as the ability of singing. In a word, where is the activity of singing there is vocal psychology. Emotional factors play a vital role in singing while singing with passion is an important part of emotions. Therefore, it is of great significance to learn and apply singing passion in the study of singing.Thus this paper intends to have an analysis of the evocation of singing passions with the application of psychological theory from a perspective of vocal psychology. Thus, by this way, this thesis is to illustrate how to evoke passion of singing, which in return, will offer to help develop singing effectively.The thesis is divided into four chapters to discuss the evocation of passion from the perspective of the psychology of vocal music. Chapter 1 and chapter 2 mainly focus on the theoretical discussion of vocal psychology and singing emotions, their definition from a psychological perspective, and the reasons why they are defined in such a way,moreover , the significance of this study . Chapter 3 intends to discover the experimental proof which testifies the significance of the psychological relation between vocal psychology and evocation of singing passion in association with study of psychology, on the basis of mental process theory, constructivist learning concept, Pygmalion effect and the four EQ studies. Chapter 4 illustrates the examples of evocation of singing passions in teaching and learning in a practical way, together with the examples of application for evoking singing passion in actual situation of singing performance.
