Teachers for musical instruments are a great troop on the musical education in our country. They promote the quality-oriented education directly or indirectly. As a special group and an important part of education, young music teachers are talents in the musical education in 21 century, they are the hope of future, and are the backbone elements in a new musical education. On the background of quality-oriented education, teachers' profession has its own important functions in the study of teachers for young musical instruments profession development, in how to train the youth instrumental teachers this troop, and in how to promote the teaching quality. This thesis studies the approaches of young music teachers' major development mainly via individual case study and the way of narrative inquiry approach. Through the study, the thesis is aimed at helping the young instrument teachers to learn the music development thesis .advancing more young teachers to think deeply about to choose their own way to develop, and helping them to grow more mature in music education.This thesis is composed of five parts:The first part is preface; it explains the social background, the reasons, the purpose and the function of choosing this topic.The second part introduces the relative preferences' and concepts.The third part sets forth the study methods, the study objects and the information collecting.The forth part is the individual cases and the analysis about them.The last parts draws conclusion from the forth part and also offers some advice on ways in the teacher self-development in music education.
