Fei Ming, who came into the literary world with the fading of the 4th, May Literature, is the pathbreaker of pastoral fiction. While the left-wind literature (revolutionary literature) voice leading the literary world, he was not satisfied with wantonly broadcasting the material gain and strong extrusion on cultural pattern from such literature. Away from earthliness, eyes on the poetic countryside of China, he started the rethinking and plans for human's ultimate care to strive after 'plot of his own' and to 'dwell poetically' in building the pastoral model appropriate for complete manifestation of poetic ingredients. Such reconstruction of the traditional Chinese cultural and literary model was centered on the gain of self-detachment & self-realization at the expense of the abandon of society. Such untimely making of 'private' speech space in a whole space full of ideology speech hegemony formed the typical pose of marginalization, which became a most forceful stand for his undertake of countryside theme creation. This reconstruction was the most avant-garde and unique in then literature context without fail. The uniqueness resisted the weathering of time. At present it clearly shows its value, based on which the thesis carried out the discussion. The introduction surveyed the bias existing in the researches on Fei Ming and limited the focus of present study. The content consists of two parts. Part one first stated the reason for Fei Ming's construction of pastoral model pointing out that he set up a presumed position in the model to put the self and the life, which revealed his different view; then expounded that 'pastoral model' was an ancient survival way for Chinese to melting the sufferings in life, embodying special spiritual orientation. Part two first indicated that Fei Ming manifested purposefully the character of 'certainness' and 'naturalness' in the rural world, which is the watch homestead spirit; next, emphasized particularly on the relationship of Fei Ming's fiction and reality, considering that reflecting on the torment between the world and soul, Fei Ming devoted himself to controlling reality under his subjective mentality so as to observe reality in reverse on the whole; lastly, discussed the crossover and superposition of the negative and positive wills in the text of Fei Ming's fiction, among which hidden the light of the ignored model rational criticism. The conclusion was the thinking on the place and tendency of Fei Ming himself and his pastoral fiction in the condition of history.
