The Narrative Strategy Of Ecological Literature

In ecological context, this paper analyzes ecological texts or the recreation of classic from the European & American Ecological Literature again with the structuralism narratology , in order to find common characteristics and rules about the narrative of Ecological Literature. Author hopes the rules can help the writing of Ecological Literature; furthermore, the study may promote the spread of Ecology Thought and improve people's ecology consciousness.At first, this paper introduces the boom of Ecological Literature trend and the situation of Ecological Literature study, and then shows the area and the methods in the study. Its goal is to find the characteristics on the narration of Ecological Literature.The boom of Ecological Literature and Ecological Criticism results from Ecology Thought, and Ecology Thought results from ecological crisis and people's ecological consciouness. After analyzing the cause that Ecology Thought booms, this paper describes its evolution and contents, and points out that its sprit is "dwell poetically" by reading the classic: Dwell Poetically and Chief Seattle's Manifesto. Next, it introduces the situation of Ecological Literature and explains the concept of Ecological Literature. Ecological Literature and Ecology Thought related closely.This paper analyzes five ecological texts in different narrative ways from European & American Ecological Literature in ecological context, then the perfect combination between Ecological Literature and narrative methods appears. We can draw a conclusion: the latter helps the former to achieve its object.Through the analyses, the characteristic of Ecological Literature narration can be found: the disappearance of Binary opposition.Ecological Literature still includes and spreads Ecology Thought, and we expect deeply that people have ecology consciousness and act earlier as soon as possible.The structuralism narratology is a whole system, I only use some methods in my study, and furthermore, the methods and the texts may not combine naturally. Otherwise, the characteristic may be some shallow. I hope teachers give me directions.
