Rebellion And Creation

From the beginning of art creation, the art product has been only painting and sculpture and this lasted a thousand years. Dada Movement began since the First World War. The movement hammered at single standard, civilization system, thinking structure, aesthetic standard, logic of doctrine, lingual criterion and faith. It was regarded as a blurring peak of an overthrow. Dada artists pushed the development of modern art by their unique glorification in a destructive meaning and in the end, caused a new art form-Installation.Duchamp's"ready object"-"Spring", is a product of Dada and primogenitor of Installation, is a wonder in the art history of the world. It's easy to find out that Installation was influenced deeply by Dada. To understand what's the influence, we have to understand the questions following first. What's Dada? What's Installation? How did they appear? Dada's art opinion has been summed up - "rebellion and creation" after it was analyzed. Then we can analyze Dada's influence on Installation which has a deep meaning in aesthetics characteristic, art language and art opinion. Finally, from the relationship between Installation and other After Modern art, we analyze Dada's appearance and Dada's influence on other After Modern art (Earth art, Video, Scene art, Act art, Concept art) and elicitation for human. It turns out that Dada's influence on Installation is positive. Installation's coming up is a historical necessity and it can't change for our consciousness. After Modern art is the offspring of information period. It rushed from social and cultural conflict of After Industry period and developed from the validity of negating Modern art. As a representative form of After Modern art, Installation overthrew and collapsed traditional Easel Art's emphases radically, that is, literature, description, visualization and "emotional expression" from deep soul. At the same time, it oppugned on trueness which was pursued by Easel Art. Installation came into art field as Dada's "ready object" and tried to find out real "trueness" in practice.
