In order to expound the inherent philosophical meaning of Zhuang Zi full and further and point out its insight and blind-point as well, this paper approaches Zhuang Zi itself in the perspective of intersubjectivity and demonstrates its coexist of absolute and relative standard of valuation epistemologically, its pendulum between the self's mind and others' mind in the domain of communication, and its view on the connection between each ego's fully free development by its own true nature and harmonious groups ontologically on the basis of its concern about individual being and the relationship between different individual beings. This thesis consists of four parts altogether.First, it explains the theme and methodology of this paper and discusses emphatically the reason and its theoretical meaning of studying Zhuang Zi, the work itself and the possibility or feasibility of approach Zhuang Zi by intersubjectivity.Secondly, by exploring Zhuang Zi's concerns in the domain of epistemology and valuation, this paper discloses coexist of absoluteness and relativity of its valuation standard, i.e. absoluteness of ideal personality and relativity of the debate over right and wrong, in the perspective of relationship between ego and others. In return, the absoluteness of ideal personality reflects its emphasis on the individual or real Self on the one hand, while the relativity of debate between right and wrong shows its more concerns about the difference between individuals on the other hand. Logically it is the ontological absoluteness of Self that leads to Zhuang ZVs emphasis on the difference between individuals. Thus, from the angle of relationship between ego and others, absoluteness exists actually behind relativity while relativity is just based on its absoluteness.Thirdly, in the domain of mind and communication Zhuang Zi explores the communication and deep understanding between individuals. On the one hand, Zhuang Zi gives a positive answer to mutual apperception between subjects or individuals on the whole based on their common life world and air-based ontology while pays more attention to the difficulty in deep communication and understanding between individuals living in different life circumstances on the other hand. Finally, ontologically Zhuang Zi stresses the independent individual or the Self's fully free development by its own true nature on the one hand, but on the other hand it tries to relieve the inherent tension between ego and others by creating a harmonious, coexisting social order.
