This paper tries to take "Shi shuo xin yu’", for example, from the character evaluation point of view, to explore the characteristics and practice of the Wei Jin literati ideal personality.Character evaluation is the Wei and Jin Dynasties an important cultural phenomenon, its basic characteristic is in the period of Wei and Jin Dynasty figures appreciation and criticism has gradually become a kind of aesthetic activity, namely from the aesthetic point of view to comment on people’s demeanor. Comment on characters implies tendency and selection of ideal personality, from the Wei Jin character evaluation can be seen in the aesthetic of the same in the ideal personality of the scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties occupy a prominent position. Therefore, the "aesthetic" established as the core of ideal personality by the scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and hope that the characters to a concrete manifestation of the beauty of transcendence, calm beauty, freedom beauty and beauty of personality traits. However the establishment of these traits reveal and core personality are built on the basis of characters of internal and external harmony. Wei Jin society does not have the conditions of peace and stability, and therefore ask "and" the ideal personality of the only way to realize the people in Wei Jin Dynasty.
