Zhao Shuli Direction And Zhao Shuli's Direction

Zhaoshuli had created a lot of works for more than 20 years from 1920's to 1940's,but there was almost nobody knew him at that time. After Mao Zedong's The Speech about Literature and Art's Work in YanAn was published in 1943 and some of ZhaoShuli's satisfying novels were published ,ZhaoShuli was set a high value on his works. Form 1949 on,Zhao Shuli Direction became the sole legal direction to guide the New China's literature and art .But Zhao Shuli's fate was very tragic .From 1950's to 1970, he was criticized for many times and he was persecuted to die in 1970 at last.ZhaoShuli Direction is different from Zhao Shuli's direction . Zhao Shuli Direction is not Zhao Shuli's real creation direction but a flag which was structured by the social main ideology with some useful part of Zhao Shuli's creation and Mao Zedong's Speech about Literature and Art in YanAn. Zhao Shuli Direction abid by socialist realism and political utilitism position. Zhao Shuli's direction abid by strict realism and nongovernmental interest position .There are many advantage in Zhao Shuli's creation.For example, the strict socialism and nongovernmental utilitism position should be carry on .But there are many shortcoming in Zhao Shuli's creation too. He didn't lay stress on foreign literature's outstanding experience and enlarge the function of novels. He regarded novels as a means to solve a problem.We needn't a fixed direction to promote the literature's development and we must give free rein to the creater's creative spirit.Let the creater choose his best art form and artistic technique according to his own interest.And only doing this ,the creaters can display the subjective world and objective world's diversifying and rich phenomenon.
