In China's poetry history ,there is an important stage for the development of the ancient poetry during Qi and Liang Dynasties. In this period, two poetry's high tides appeared about YongMing poem and GongTi poem one after another. Lived between Qi and Liang Dynasties, Xiaoyan played a very important role in the course of two poetry's high tides. In this article , we study Xiaoyan to connect with the period in his life in the term of individual angle. Being man of letters, the development locus of the poetry was holded from YongMing poetry to GongTi poetry between Qi and Liang Dynasties by watching Xiaoyan's poems. On the other hand, being an emperor, Xiaoyan has strongly promoted the development of poetry in two poetry's high tides.In the period of Xiaoyan's life, the nobles group literature dominated the world of poetry , the literal activities were launched by the noble's group. The poetry style showed be similar because of the effective of the literal group's master more or less. The literary trend sprung up in the world poetry between Qi and Liang Dynasties for the exist of the literary groups. In YongMing times of Qi dynasty, Shenyue and other people which belonged to JingLing prince - Xiao-ziliang's literary groups invented the phonology and used it to write poems . Thus a new type poetry was taken shape . They pursued the aesthetic feeling of easy and smooth to write poems. After the effects on the fresh theories in YongMing times, Xiaoyan's literal thoughts were not only chant the tender regards but also tend to return to the ancients after he became an emperor. His poems' characteristics were elegant and ancient plain. The contradictory and unified literature ideas reflected both literal of the Confuncianists which dominated among Xiaoyan'sthinkings that mixed up Taoist school , Buddie and the Confuncianists. He has been affected by Wu songs and Xi tunes lied in that he lived. Xianyan's forms of literature were wide-ranging such as erotic and maiden's resentment , mountain-and -waters and chanting objects and preaching Buddhist's truths. Among three series of the poems , Xiaoyan's musical poems were the most successful. His poems' antithesis were careful and neat. Flowery languages were beautiful and elegant but not to be vulgarized. Xiaoyan depicted forms and structures to use the same words, especially paid attention t.o trying to find the best turn of words which be covered with all kinds of multicolours in his poems. The personifications were very vivid and vigorous. Experiencing and observing objects were very careful. Xiaoyan had a direct effect on Xiaogang about the temperament and interest of the aesthetic and poem's features ,which got more reflections and more developments in Xiaogang's poems' subject matters, contents, forms and styles. Thereby there was an effection on giving impetus to the coming of GongTi poem's high tide and the form of a pure gorgeous styling of writing in Liang Dynasty, which sped up the course of rules and forms of classical poetic composition objectly. At the begining of Liang Dynasty, Xiaoyan advocated the Confuncianists' theories to make a prosperous situation to appear, which directly led to the current of studying at that time in the society. There was a strong literal atmosphere to appear to become a fashion to write poems in the banquets. Being a group master , Xiaoyan placed restrictions on time and rhythms to make literaties use a lot of allusions so that the same subjects appeared, which developed the poetry forms itself and hightened writing techniques. All of this got ready to the prosperous of GongTi poetry in the literary forms. More important Xiaoyan facilitated forms of literary groups by cultivating his two sons Xiaotong and Xiaogang...
