A Study About Xuanhuishi Of The Tang And Song Dynasty

This essay is made of two parts. The first part introduces transformation and develepment about Xuanhuishi system of the Tang and Song dynasty. The second part introduce Xuanhuishi and vice Xuanhuishi of Wudai and Tang dynasty and Song dynasty, their names and the time that they were on the job.Xuanhuishi of the Tang dynasty. Xuanhuiyuan was set up in the period of Tangdaizong Dali(766-779). Xuanhuiyuan of Tang dynasty include the north-yuan and the south-yuan. Each part appointed one Xuanhuishi ang one vice Xuanhuishi. These officials were Huanguan in Tang dynasty. Xuanhuishi was appointed in the middle period of Tang dynasty. Xuanhuishi was one of officials in the palace.Xuanhuishi have more and more authority in later period of Tang dynasty. Xuanhuishi and two Zhongwei and two Shumi("Sigui") became the officials who had the most power in later period of Tang dynasty.Xuanhuishi's chief job is to declare important order, manage all the departments in the palace, run important activities in the palace.Many Huanguan were killed in later period of Tangdynasty. It was order that Xuanhuiyuan put up one Xuanhuishi and one vice Xuanhuishi,the officials are intellectuals. There were 21 Xuanhuishi, including vice Xuanhuishi in Tang dynasty according to material we have found today.Xuanhuishi of Wudaishiguo. It set up one Xuanhuishi and one vice Xuanhuishi in Houliang. They were intellectuals. It set up one Xuanhuinanyuanshi and one Xuanhuibeiyuanshi in Houtang. They main were intellectuals,some were Huanguan.It set up one Xuanhuinanyuanshi and one Xuanhuibeiyuanshi in Houjin, Houhan and Houzhou.These officials were intellectuals. Six countries of Shiguo had Xuanhuishi.It set up one Xuanhuinanyuanshi and one Xuanhuibeiyuanshi in Qianshu and Houshu. They were intellectualls and Huanguan.
