Parallel style official paper is the particular outcome of Chinese feudal culture. Wei , Jin and Nan Dynasties are the critical stages in the course of its maturity. In this graduate paper, I did some further exploration on the issue. There are five parts in my thesis.First, I study the causes of their maturity --- the unceasinglydeepgoing literary form discrimination, the rise in social position of mendarins who write the official papers. Second, this thesis analyzes the development of the antithetic sentence structure and the application of prose and words of no semantic meaning. Third, I discuss the perfect unity of the two sides of parallel style official papers. One is the nature of the seriousness, the other is that of the expression. Fourth, I discuss the allusion application in parallel style official papers, which relates to the writers' mentality of antiquity worship. As far as the writers and the readers are concerned , it has important aesthetics value. At last, Shen Yue' s theory of tone plays an important role in the process of harmony of pronunciation.
