The Analysis Of The Layout Design On Ming And Qing Dynasty 's Books

There are three aspects in the layout design of Ming and Qing Dynasty 's Books. Firstly the whole form of layout is made up of format, frame, center, prologue, content, straight matter, illustration, annotation...etc. Secondly, all levels 'headline, page code and quotation and annotation are arranged in order. Thirdly, font, characters, the spacing of boundary are chosen and grasped.Large quantity of data of ancient books in Ming and Qing Dynasty are collected in this thesis, on the foundation of these data, aiming at analysis three layout 's contents of ancient books in Ming and Qing Dynasty and summing up its immanent criterion and characteristics.I regard Ming and Qing Dynasty 's book as the object of research in this text, comparing, analyzing and inducing the form of layout on the ancient books, such as format, frame, boundary contents, front, the scheme illustration. Proceeding comparison, in order to try looking for immanent criterion and characteristics of traditional books and hope it is benefitful to the design of layout on modern books.At the beginning of thesis, there is introducing the evolvement of Chinese traditional books as well as the engraved book of Chinese past dynasties, involving varieties and characteristics of past dynasties books' layout, so as to make readers totally understand the art Chinese traditional books. From the thesis, there are mainly the format of character and illustration, summarizing a certain regulation.The layout of character involves to format, frame, spacing of boundary font, center, content, straight matter, illustration, annotation and so on. In the layout of illustration there are main two aspects including the collocation of illustration and character, independent illustration form.
