Combination Of National Music And Modern Technic

"Imprompt---Dong xiang gu lou"and"Duo ye " with the style of Dong nationality folk music are two piano pieces created in modern composition skills. They play an important role in Chinese piano composing. With distinctive national features and times flavors, the two piano pieces accord with modern people's aesthetic habits and features. Based on lots of documents searching, deep theoretical analyses and personal performing practice ,the essay makes searches on the two piano pieces. It is divided into four chapters. Chapter One introduces the times background when the two piano pieces came into being and their authors. While introducing the times background it cites a few examples of symphonic and piano compositions to illustrate the features of the music compositions in this period. Chapter Two expounds the music style of the two piano pieces in two sides including national style and the use of modern composition skills. In national style, it respectively expounds how the natural conditions and social customs and songs and dances of Dong nationality are embodied in the compositions. The application of modern composition skills is expounded in the design of rhythm and beat and the application of chord ,melody nature,music form and nontraditional method of score memorizing. Chapter Three has the research from the combination of Dong nationality folk music and modern composition skills. Chapter Four stated the two piano compositions in performance in details. First , performance skills are explained in details from rhythm, method of touching keys, the use of treadle. Second, how to have music performance is stated in two sides consisting of how to grasp well performing thoughts and music emotions. Through this essay, from the two sides of piano composition creation and performance try to make people have a systematic and overall understanding to Chinese piano compositions produced by modern composition skills with a national style and comprehend correctly the combination of eastern music and western music. It is expected to combine appropriately modern composition skills and national style and contribute a bit to the development of Chinese piano music.
