The Investigation And Study Of The Two Bands Of Wind And Percusion Music Of Yicheng And Tai' Erzhuang In The Mid And South Shandong Province

This article about two bands of Wind and Percussion Music in the mid and south of Shandong province consists of three parts: the musical function of ritual and custom in folklore, the study of musical thing-in-itself, and the question of cultural anthropology in the course of fieldwork. It concentrated its attention on the directional, subminiature study of the "special case", i.e. the music of ritual and custom demonstrated by the two bands of Drum Music in Yicheng and Tai'erzhuang in the mid and south of Shandong province. With it, we can use the experience of selected units to promote work in the entire area.The first part, three ritual reports on fieldwork.The second part, the musical study of noumenon depending upon the data derived from my field work.The final part, the serial questions of the cultural anthropology basection the analysis of status quo of the band of Wind and Percussion Music in the process of fieldwork.
