Globalization Of Culture And Modernization Of Chinese Culture

Just like the globalization of economy, the cultural globalization has existed objectively and has potential influence on social lives. This article firstly discusses the historical inevitability of producing the globalization of culture from four aspects: the development of economy globalization, direct impetus of science, diversified requirements of culture of human being and western developed countries-push. At the same time, the writer also scientifically analyzed the opportunity and challenge brings by the cultural globalization to modernization of Chinese culture. Facing the deeply development of cultural globalization, how can Chinese traditional culture base itself, face the challenge actively join in the cultural globalization and create its cultural features to make the transition of traditional culture come to reality? It is an unquestionable urgent task to resolve. Based on analysis to the feature and ideal pursuit of Chinese culture, the writer thinks: It is historical trend to modernize Chinese traditional culture. We should modernize Chinese culture starting from the following five aspects: innovating Chinese traditional culture, reforming culture system structure, protecting Chinese culture from westernization and keeping its independency and security, promoting and cultivating Chinese culture, making great efforts to develop our culture industry.
