The General Researches Of The History Records Of Annalistic Style In The Tang Dynasty

In the Tang Dynasty ,The government formally established the system of Writing the history records in ShiGuan,after that, the national history books are Ji Zhun Ti style which was wrote by Official organizations。So some scholars think the Tang Dynasty was the period that the the history records of the annalistic style declines,until the production of Si Maguang's Zi Zhi Tong Jian in Northern Song Dynasty,just made the history records of the annalistic style types restore the prestige, Then, how was the state of development of the the history records of the annalistic style in the Tang Dynasty? Was the position declining? In the recent 20 years, Such scholars as Mr. Qu Lindong, Xie Baocheng, etc., have made some study on the history records of the annalistic style of the Tang Dynasty. They have regarded" new development of the the history records of the annalistic style"as an important aspect in the development of late Tang historiography. On this basis, this thesis combs the the history records of the annalistic style'booklist and classification in the Tang Dynasty in an all-round way, and compares it with Pre-Tang's the history records of the annalistic style on the quantity, and puts forward a new view: on the whole Tang Dynasty, the the history records of the annalistic style were in the course of sustainable development. This thesis has also further analyzed many reasons in the development of the the history records of the annalistic style of the Tang Dynasty., regarded Tang Tong Ji which be quote d more by Zi Zhi Tong Jian Kao Yi. as an example .The author hopes that people can know deeper to the value of the history records of the annalistic style of the Tang Dynasty through investigating this book's value. The thesis divides four chapters. Chapter one, firstly, the author reviews the development course of annalistic style Pre-Tang, makes preparation for expounding the annalistic style history records in the Tang Dynasty. Then the author briefly introduces the views about annalistic style of types of people Tang, and mainly enumerates the views of Liu Zhiji, Pei Guangting, Xiao Yingshi and Huang Fushi.Which prove people Tang praise highly relatively on annalistic style. At last, the author introduces the writing structure of this thesis. Chapter two, the statistical analysis of the history records of the annalistic style of the Tang Dynasty. Basing on Xin Tang Shu·Yi Wen Zhi,Song Shi·Yi Wen Zhi and Xin Tan gShu Yi Wen Zhi BU, the author combs the annalistic style history records booklist in the Tang Dynasty in an all-round way. And lists 99 history records annalistic styles of the Tang Dynasty altogether according to the source and classification. Through comparing these books with Pre-Tang's annalistic style history records in quantization, we can find out the annalistic style history records in the Tang Dynasty developed continuously, and they are not in the declining position. Chapter three, the author has further probed into the reasons on development of the annalistic style of the Tang Dynasty. This thesis has proposed five following points: at first, the Tang Dynasty set up the historiographers' institute and compiled every dynasty's faithful records. These faithful records had annual nature by themselves, and were favorable to the use of the history records of other annalistic styles. Secondly,National History and Country's History that the officer trimmed had very high achievements. This has promoted the development of country's history of annalistic style which the individual writes from reverse side. Thirdly, Tang Dynasty headed for unification from the past long-term division of a period in politics, and have presented the atmosphere of a kind of research comprehensive history correspondingly. The situation of FANZHENGEJU excited historians to write comprehensive history in order to witness prosperity and declining of history even more. Because the annalistic style regarded time for historical development as the clue, it is clear to write down historical incident in proper arrangement. This had promoted the scholars to write comprehensive history of the annalistic style form. Fourthly, "Spring and Autumn " group in study of Confucian classics appeared in the Tang Dynasty, it had enormous influence on the history of last era and following era. Acting as the origin of the annalistic style, "Spring and Autumn" had promoted the development of history records of the annalistic style. Fifthly, People Tang faced one. problem of orthodox concept while studying history and realistic problems, and there is a question about the history records of other annalistic styles that which regime is orthodox. So the discussion of the orthodox concept will stimulate the development of the history records of the annalistic style. To every reason, put out the corresponding representative annalistic style history records to prove. Perhaps the discussions of the above-mentioned five aspects are not overall and deep enough yet. Hope the academia carries on deeper research.
