The plague, war, and famine are called the tragic "Three Swordwars"in the history of mankind. The plague is a note out of harmony throughout the development of human society which threatened and brought damage to human life and property far more than what the war did. During Republic of China large-scale and infectious epidemics broke out only too often, threatening the people's life and possession seriously and impacting upon the society significantly. The plagues of Xinjiang in Republic of China spread widely and remained for a long time. The plagues were of various categories and popular in the south and north of Xinjiang. It can be deduced that the categories of Xinjiang's epidemics were primarily smallpox, mumps, typhus, anthrax, cholera and so on according to the systematic investigation to the categories of Xinjiang's epidemics in Republic of China. The plagues are not only caused by the natural calamity but also by people themselves. Besides, the occurrence and spread of the plague directly correlate with the natural environment and social environment. The specific natural environment and ecosystem condition in Xinjiang of Republic of China the occurrence and spread of the plague with the certain term. In addition, the occurrence and spread of the plague are certainly influenced by the poor transportation, the unadvanced medical treatment and social environmental factors, for instance, the social turbulence. Many occurrence of plague produced a multitude of negative influence on the society in Xinjiang during Republic of China.
