Anthropology And Transformations In Chinese Literature From 1980

Anthropology and literature are humanities. They relate to each other fast. Literature itself contains spontaneous anthropology ideology by nature. The conscious use of anthropology into literature expands its boundary ,and the value of literature can be promoted to existence and living philosophy. As anthropology probes into human's oringinal and primitive nature, the primary effect and function of the anthropology especially the cultural anthropology ,to the contemporary literature since 1980,are restoring:it frees from the "God -creating"in "Cultural Revolution"and restores the human,then the reality, culture,and the last is literature itself. As we know ,from the beginning of twenty century to "Cultural Revolution",freq –ent wars and political movements made literature vulgar politicalized and ethics moralized.The utility goals and artificial expresses prevailed in literature and it lost simple anthropology characteristics.This tendency was not revised until after "Cultural Revolution". Anthropology restored its position in literature and literature went back to "huamanity "track.So it needs to inquired to the relation of anthropology and the transformations of contemporary literature from 1980 on. The first part the historical investigating:the anthropology orbit in new time's literature In new time from 1980 after "Culture Revolution",literature and anthropology undwent a growing course. Anthropology in literature developed from spontaneous consciousness faint beating in it to clear anthropology thesis effect on literature.I divide the literature from 1980 two parts:the first part is in 1980's ,the other after 1990. during 1980's ,literature experienced three turns :at first it turned from eager accuse to vulgar politics to man's awake;then ,it turned from reality to the foundation of people and history or culture;the third turn was from intellectual's emotion to livin -g exsistence especially the living folk. After 1990,all things are rich and manifold .In the post-modernization context ,content returned to texts in a large scale.In the same time, anthropology thesis had already merged into a lot of trends.From new-historilist and feminist and the new-borned generation I analyze literature's writing position from the edge, which show its anthropological characters.In addion,some of authority writers who are born in 1950s consciously turned to extensive "folk"and "the mother earth",and expressed wide anthropology vision. The second part the theme and category:the analysis of anthropology motifs in Chinese contemporary literature From literature after 1980, I summarize three clear anthropology motifs to analyz –e. The land and reproduction motif,the true living and existence on widespread land are full of dynamic and creativity.But the primitive life and exsistence face to crisis,in high spirits there is writers'concern.The origin motif, the anthropology answers to literature's seeking for oneself's origin are clan,family from physiology view,and totem is a psychology angle to verify.It contains wtiters'deep thoughts of history.The sacrifice ,ceremony and purify motif,in anthropology, the sacrifice and ceremony are to retain and recollect society's moral order,and increase the cohesion of the nation.But in China,where the pious faith is scarce,sacrifice or ceremony continually appear in literature after 1980.Although ridiculous,it shows writers'worries.
