In the face of this deep and complicated changes, we should query and distinguish when we understanding with the aid of prevalent viewpoint in the history of calligraphy. First of all, the thought resource which support this kind of change is Li zhi's concept? Or the school of mind? Or the Confucianism to correct empty talk and degenerate moral in social at that time? Because the state of calligraphy at that time include creator and integrated environment is different from literature and drama innovation. It requires that we must understand social background and philosophy trend when interpret the history of late Ming Dynasty, especially calligrapher's personality and direction of creation. Secondly, the style of calligraphy innovation can not be summarized with " romanticism "either, there are its specific historical value and features.
