The Calligraphy of HUIZHOU in the late Ming dynasty has once thrived between the recessions of Wu Men calligraphy school and the rising of YUNJIANG school, which wanted to break the situation of WUMEN's dictatorship and establish their own position to dominate the world of calligraphy together with WUMEN. As a representative of calligraphy and seal craving, Zhan Jingfeng exerted a great impact on the flourishing of HUIZHOU calligraphy and seals. Through presenting Zhan Jing-feng's family history, his studying history, his works of calligraphy and his art views as well as the background of economy and culture of HUIZHOU, the paper clears up the schools of Calligraphers and seal cravers of HUIZHOU,and analyses the causes of the unprecedented prosperity of the growth of HUIZHOU calligraphers and seal cravers. Moreover, the dissertation penetrates into the attempts and strategies of Zhan Jing-feng's refutations to Wang Shi-zhen and comments on Zhu Yun-ming, Wen Zheng-ming and Wen Peng. Finally, the paper comes to the reason why the calligraphy of HUIZHOU couldn't compete with the calligraphy of WUMEN.
