Northeastern Mandarin is a subdialect of northern Mandarin. It includes the dialects of most parts of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and some parts of Inner Mongolia. In this article, we'll discuss the vivid forms of adjective in the three provinces of Dongbei.Northeastern Mandarin is one of the basic dialects of Putonghua. We'll compare Northeastern Mandarin to Beijing Mandarin and discuss the peculiarity of adjective in Northeastern Mandarin. In this study, we want to provide some valuable dialectal materials for the research of Putonghua.In this paper we'll attach importance to three questions: the first one is the affixes of adjective; the second is the reduplication of monosyllable adjective, which includes some expanding forms, for example"— AA"; the third one is the reduplication of dissyllable adjective and the particular vivid form of "AB: 的". Moreover, we try to explain the relationship among light syllable, retroflex suffix and tone sandhi.
