Since the World War Two, there are two high tides of the Chinese immigration into the United States,one is related to Taiwanese emigration in 1970's, another refers to the upsurge of the emigration from China mainland after the Opening and reform in 1980's.They directly caused the resurgence of Chinese Education in the United States.But because of the different habit of China mainland and Taiwan, the two emigration tides lead Chinese Education in America into the coexistence of two kind of Chinese language schools: Taiwan's Chinese language schools which are created by Taiwanese and use Big5 and Zhuyin symbol in teaching,and China-Mainland's Chinese language schools which are created by the mmigrants from China mainland and use Chinese and Pinyin in teaching.This dissertation makes an emphasis analysis on the process of the Taiwan's Chinese language schools and China-Mainland's Chinese language schools,while taking the development of Chinese-American as its background, and the Chinese language schools as its keystone, meanwhile, to express each present situation and trouble.In the last, the writer gives some forecast of the Chinese Education' future.
