| As the Mandarin fever is keep on growing, for the sake of the original language environment, many American colleges and universities began to organize students come to China for Chinese short-term training, such as PIB, HBA, CIB, etc. Many projects have taken Middlebury Language-Teaching Mode as their teaching management model which is from the Middlebury College in the United States. It is well known that the model has achieved great success. Its characteristic is taken a short period of time of strengthening practice to achieve the remarkable teaching results. During June to August in 2015, the author has been in such project, it is a summer Chinese project which is organized by the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States, Tianjin Nankai University and Tianjin Normal University. The author has collected the error test papers of the students in their training period and carried out a dividing analysis, to summarize it’s prone to errors. And try to puts forward effective suggestions for improvement from the teaching management model of the project.This paper mainly divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction of the domestic research on the error analysis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in these years. The second part is the brief introduction about UW’s teaching staff, curriculum provision and teaching mode. The third part is the error analysis of UW’s students in Chinese learning. The forth part is the cause of the error analysis. Part fifth is teaching suggestion on the UW. The sixth part is conclusion and some inadequacies about this paper. |
