Discourse Influences And The Outcome Of Literary Classics

Country discourse, elite discourse and folk discourse are the three main bodies during the choosing and establishing of literary classics. But, these three types of discourse influence have different emphases on literature, for example, country discourse emphasizes particularly on the practicality of literature, elite discourse emphasizes on the mental profundity and origination degree of literature, and folk discourse concentrates on the interest and amusement of literature, etc. They could not choose and construct literary classics individually—they must exert influences collectirely to overcome disadvantages in their own literary attitudes and requirements. So, when all the three categories of discourse influence make a compromise and hold positive attitudes toward some literary works, a literary classics will come into being.
