A Research On High Middle School Students English Learning Strategies

This essay first goes through the literature of English language learning strategies in order to clarify the basic problems in the area of language learning strategies, such as definition, classification of English learning strategies and so on. Then I make a survey on the present situation of strategy use in three high middle schools in Lishui county, from which I can see that the students are in great need of guidance in learning and using English strategies. So I give an experimental training to some of the students. And from the training course, I have good reason to believe that it is necessary to integrate English language learning strategy into the daily teaching at the period of high middle school education, because I can see the students have benefited from the training.
