Analysis On The Narration Structure Of The Stories Of KongJi BaJi's Type And The Comparative Study Of The Characteristics Of The Nationalities

The Cinderella, the heroine of the European Cinderella stories, is maltreated by her stepmother and father and freed by supernatural existence from the dangerous situation. She married a prince and her destiny was thus changed since then. The similar stories are hence grouped into those of the Cinderella's type by the tale taxonomists. We might say that the story of Cinderella's type is the embodiment of the daydream of the constrained women in the society under the domination of the males.The stories of Cinderella's type, totaling more than 700, have become widely -spread folktales, popular in many countries, particularly in China, S. Korea, Japan, India and ancient India, etc. According to the documents, it was collected by Duan Chenshi, a scholar in the Tang Dynasty in the sequel of " north's miscellaneous ancient sacrificial utensil of the tenth of the twelve Earthly Branches "The similar chief idea of a folktale of this kind does not suggest the similar origin and the similar way of inheritance. Different regions and different features of nationalities possess their unique ways and connotations, of which the comparative study is of some referential significance in the comprehension of the differences between the Korean nationality and the Chinese Han nationality, and the Western nomads and of the feature of its conventional culture.With the concept of General Luo's- General Mother's issue, and upon the basis of acknowledging the achievements made by previous scholars, this text, by applying themorphologic theory of folk tales, concentrates on the analysis of the stories of the Cinderella type, which are mainly divided, for the sake of convenience in dissertation, into three kinds of forms: Western, China and S. Korea, and named respectively "the Cinderella ' s type", "the limit of the leaf's type" and "KongJi BaJi' s type".Due to the shortage of the relevant reference data, this article makes a study of merely 40 stories, the principal objects, he two of which are from Western Europe, and the rest 38, the representative ones from China and Korea, which are regrouped in the light of the argument on folk shape of General Lou's-General mother's issue, and regards the Core of mother's issue, Freedom of mother's issue and Expansion of mother's issue as the new topics for the study of the stories of the Cinderella type. Starting from the Mother's issue, this text tries, by means of comparison, to do some research on the Structure of Narration of the Nationality of the "KongJi BaJi ' s type", and to analyze the various cultural characteristics of the nationalities from the angles of its agro-farming culture, marriage, folklore, taboo and change of the bodies, etc.
